Tweezing between appointments can tamper with your hair growth cycles and leave hairs that are too short for the wax to pick up

When planning to get waxed, make sure that you haven't shaved in 2 weeks (minimum). The hair needs to be at least a ¼ of an inch long for the wax to grab onto the hair shaft.

Retinol can make your skin extremely sensitive and easily susceptible to damage from waxing. That being said, you can receive facial waxing if you discontinue use 1 week prior to and 1 week after your wax appointment.
